It's that time of year...summer is here!  Join us for all-ages story time.  There will be songs, stories, crafts, and more.

Get ready for a wild adventure with Wild Things Zoofari! Families will get an up-close look at live exotic animals while learning fun, kid-friendly facts about wildlife and conservation from animal experts.

This interactive program is free and open to the public—no ticket required. Just drop in and enjoy a memorable experience designed to spark curiosity and a love of animals for all ages!

Dig up your very own dinosaur egg from the sand, excavate them out of the clay egg, identify which one you have, and take your own baby dino home! (Registration Required as only 30 dinosaurs have given birth)

Come cool off and enjoy watching Disney Dinosaur. We will have light refreshments and giveaways.

Storytime for Toddlers
Join Ms. Sharon for a lively, interactive storytime designed especially for toddlers. Little ones will enjoy singing, movement, and simple dinosaur-themed stories in a fun and welcoming environment.
This program includes songs, early literacy activities, and a hands-on craft.

Come see real live snakes up close! Join us as we learn about the various species of snakes in Texas and the surrounding region. If you're lucky, you might just get to touch a snake! For ages 8-12 years old.

Space is limited, tickets are required. Free tickets will be handed out at the Children's Reference Desk beginning on Monday, June 22nd.

Kids 4 - 7 can register online for the 1:00pm to 1:30pm sessions. Please wear clothing appropriate for athletic activities.

4. How to use notation
5. How to set up the chess board
6. Discuss special moves
7. Describe check and checkmate
8. Review chess principals
9. Cover minor tactics
10. Discuss end game principals
11. Then members will get a chance to play each other
