Join us in creating a community quilt to celebrate America 250! Community members are welcome to design their own quilt square with colorful designs. All squares will be put together to make a community quilt and will be displayed in the library! Make sure to stop by and become a part of the library's history!

Are your children's vaccines up to date? Harris Health System Troubleshooters will be here administering recommended vaccines by the CDC such as MMR, DTaP, IPV and others. First come, first serve, bring child(ren) shot record, children ages 0-18. No appointment required. Limited capacity.

Join us for an educational program that teaches children and families how to safely interact with animals, practice responsible pet care, and support animal welfare in the community. Hosted in partnership with the South Houston Animal Shelter, the program teaches safety and awareness through fun and informative activities.

This program is open to all ages.

Storytime for Toddlers
Join Ms. Sharon for a lively, interactive storytime designed especially for toddlers. Little ones will enjoy singing, movement, and simple dinosaur-themed stories in a fun and welcoming environment.
This program includes songs, early literacy activities, and a hands-on craft.

Join us as the Friends of the Maud Marks Library hold their next Members-Only preview used book sale. There is a large selection of hardback fiction and nonfiction, as well as children’s books and paperbacks. All items sell for rock-bottom prices.

If you are not a member of the Friends of the Maud Marks Library, you may join at the door for $10. All proceeds will benefit the library.

Bilingual Storytime for School-Age Children

Join Ms. Tina for an interactive bilingual storytime featuring stories in both English and Spanish. Children will enjoy engaging activities, songs, and dinosaur-themed stories while building language and literacy skills.

This program promotes cultural awareness and a love of reading in two languages.
