This orientation session will introduce participants to vinyl cutting, Cricut operation, heat pressing, sublimation printing and related software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a vinyl cutter, Cricut machine, sublimation printer, or a heat press.
Want to learn how to sew but never used a machine? This is the class for you! You will learn how to navigate a sewing machine to gain the confidence to make your own projects. Bring your own machine (if you have one) or use one of ours.
*Note- this is a skills class, we will not be making a project
This beginner friendly lesson will introduce participants to cross-stitching, which is a form of counted-thread embroidery using X-shaped stitches to create a pattern.
Join us to create your own paper doll of a fierce woman from history. You will have the choice to choose from icons such as Amanda Gorman, Bessie Coleman, Malala Yousafzai, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Amelia Earhart and more. Some of these fierce women paper dolls may also feature accessories. Let your creativity soar while learning about great women trailblazers.
