To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Barbara Bush Library, we invite young artists to show us what the library means to them!

Through your artwork, show us how the library has made a difference in your life. Maybe the library has helped you discover a favorite book, learn a new hobby, make friends, start a business, or explore your creativity; the possibilities are endless!
There is no wrong way to see your library. Show us the library through YOUR eyes!

Who Can Participate?
There are two age groups who can submit artwork:

Toddler-Time for Walkers & Non-talkers/Babblers

Read, sing, and grow with your young one. Meet other parents and help your child learn.

Pre-K+ Storytime for Walkers & Talkers

This Storytime focuses on the developmental needs for "Preschoolers," specifically children who are walkers AND talkers.

So, seats and attendance for this Storytime give priority to "preschoolers, who are walkers & talkers.

Join us for a delightful morning of creativity at our Paint Along program! For October, we will be following along a step-by-step online instructor and painting a "Halloween Bouquet".

Registration will open September 29th at 10AM.

Registration and attendance for patrons ages 18+ only.

The Kingwood Branch Library expresses its gratitude to the Friends of the Library Kingwood (F.O.L.K.) for their support and supplies.

Due to demand, if you have not arrived by 5 minutes after the start of the program, your spot will be released.

Join the book club to meet, mingle and chat with other literature lovers. Experience the pleasure of reading and discovering new mystery books and authors.

• Occurrence: Wednesdays, weekly (unless otherwise noted)
• Time 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Ages: 18+
• Description: Join us weekly for coffee and crafts!
• Additional Info: Bring your own craft to work on or try one we'll provide

Join us to learn the basics of Microsoft Excel through hands-on practice; focused on using formula,  creating chart/graph, color coding( conditional formatting ) etc.

Join us to learn how to play Hong Kong style mahjong with Lily Lotus Club! This event is aimed at all skill levels. We will have instructors and guides to help you learn the game. Registration is required. Walk-ins will be taken if there is space. Some food provided. This program is intended for 18+.

Registration is required to attend. You may register and pick up your copy of the book at the front desk.

Join us in the extraordinary world of Graphic Novels with BeTWEEN the Pages, a book club for ages 8-12!

Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.
