Join us for a fun, fast-paced dive into the world of smart money management!
Kids 8-12 come play Magic: the Gathering card game!
All supplies are provided. All levels of experience welcome!
Join our Tween Book Club here at the Barbara Bush Branch Library! We will discuss a new book every month paired with a fun activity.
The book for August will be A Dog-Friendly Town by Josephine Cameron.
Popcorn is, of course, provided! You may bring you own snacks too.

Everyone is welcome to knit, crochet, cross-stitch, sew, needlepoint, or embroider with us! Some members donate finished items to local charities.
We are happy to help old and new crafters with their projects, but this is not a formal class.Please bring your own supplies.Are you looking for a way to continue to improve your English skills? ESL Classes are underway at the Aldine Branch Library.
The Aldine Branch Library will be offering:
- ESL - 1 (in-person)
- We will meet once a week on Thursdays August 6th, 2026 - September 24th from 10:30am - 11:30am
A pre-assessment test is required. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you.
These courses are free of charge.
