Come join us to turn books into beautiful pieces of art just by folding the pages inside. Books will be provided but feel free to bring your own hardback book, preferably at least 300 pages long (the more pages the better!). *Supplies are limited; registration is required. This event is for adults only.

Do you knit/crochet/craft? Please join us for our weekly meeting of the Knotty and Nice Club. We meet for 2 hours and socialize while working on our own projects or community charity projects. Please note that this is not a class but people are always available to help you if you need a LITTLE help. If you have never knitted or crocheted, the library offers many books and a few DVDs to learn. You can find many helpful videos on YouTube as well.

Lit Chat Adult Book Club is usually a reader’s-choice group, but this month we’ll be discussing The Librarians by Sherry Thomas in honor of Gulf Coast Reads.
Gulf Coast Reads is a regional initiative that encourages communities on the Texas Gulf Coast to read the same book and come together for meaningful discussions throughout October. Whether you’re a longtime member or a first-time attendee, we’d love to have you join the conversation.
