Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for an opportunity to unearth a story of your very own! We will be hosting an exciting excavation event here at the library.

During the weeks of June 14-July 7, young adults are invited to drop off new and gently used, clean clothing items including shirts, sweaters, jackets, pants, shorts, skirts, dresses, and shoes at the upstairs reference desk. Please do not bring children's clothes smaller than 14 or YXL in t-shirt sizes. One ticket will be given for each item received by library staff. One ticket can then be turned in for one item the participant wishes to take on Teen Thrift Trade day (July 8). A limit of 10 clothing items can be turned in to the library.

Popcorn is, of course, provided! You may bring you own snacks too.

Whether you're a cosplayer or not, join us to create your own costume pieces! Participants will go on choose from a list of garments and accessories and use Kingwood Branch Library's Glowforge, 3D Printers, and sewing machines to make the vision come to life.
Calling all teen artists! Whatever your medium is, you're invited to hang with other artists and work on your projects. Sketch pads, art pencils, markers, paints, yarn, crochet hooks, and more will be available for those who just want to show up and create. Snacks will also be provided.
