This program will feature two dishes rich in herbs, spices, and tubers. Those dishes are:

Krafty Kids is a whimsical environment where children can express their creativity through a variety of artistic activities, ranging from painting to sculpting. With an extensive selection of supplies and guided sessions, kids have the opportunity to explore their talents and craft unique masterpieces to take home. Are you ready for some Minecraft?! Join us for a 60 minute open Minecraft session in our computer lab! There is no registration, but space is limited so make sure to be on time! If space becomes open throughout the session, other people can join.
ESL Classes (Various Levels)
All of HCPL English-learning classes are taught by trained volunteer tutors and are completely free to attend. Learning materials are provided.
Beginner ESL Classes for Adults who speak little or no English. You will practice speaking, reading, writing and listening.
Advanced ESL Classes & Conversation Club for Adults who want to reach fluency in English. Practice speaking, reading, writing and listening with native speakers in a nonjudgmental environment.
Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
Haunted homeschoolers, join us in the Grand Chamber for a morning of spine-tingling creativity and monstrous masterpieces at Crafts from the Crypt!
Every week this October at 11:00 AM, creative ghouls and goblins ages 5–10 will gather at the library to resurrect ordinary craft supplies into spectacularly spooky art. From friendly phantoms to creepy-crawly keepsakes, each session will be horridly fun and hands-on for growing monsters--we mean makers. Parents, don't fear—the mess stays with us in the crypt.
Come chill out and catch a new anime every month. Make friends and socialize or just enjoy watching some anime on a big screen.
Open to anyone 18+
Anime club meets (usually, unless noted) on the first Monday of every month from 6pm- 8 pm.
