Tickets are required for all programs unless otherwise noted. They are free and available when the library opens at 10:00 am in the Children's Department. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Lines for the tickets sometimes form before the tickets are distributed. Tickets can run out very quickly, so please plan accordingly.

Join us for our monthly Lego Club!  We provide the Lego's and the kids provide the creativity and imagination! Program is for ages 0-17. Join us for an hour of fun mixed free and themed building.

Join us every Tuesday for Family Storytime! Bring the whole family to sing fun songs, read engaging stories, and create simple crafts together. 

A new teen and young adult book club is forming at Freeman Library! Join us as we discuss enjoyable reads from the Young Adult collection! Liminal Pages will meet on selected Tuesdays at 5 PM in the Teen Zone Program Space on the second floor. Refreshments will be served.

This month’s book is The Naturals, by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.

Join us for an exploration of science, technology, engineering, and math through fun hands-on activities and challenges! All materials will be provided. This program is recommended for ages 5-12 years old. 

Join us for a time of creativity and fun! We will have some supplies for whatever kind of journaling you wish to engage in, from bullet journaling to junk journaling to dream journaling. Journals will be provided if you don't already have one. Snacks will be provided. This program is intended for adults 18+.

Join us for a special Family Storytime in remembrance of Dolly Parton! Not only was Dolly Parton a legendary country music icon, but she was also affectionately known as “The Book Lady," a passionate advocate for children’s literacy who helped provide free books to children across the nation.

Bring the whole family for singing, engaging stories, and simple crafts you can enjoy together. Together, et’s celebrate Dolly’s love of music, books, and children. 

Learn about owls, what they eat, and what scientists look at in their pellets! Supplies will be provided.

This program is intended for ages 9 through 12 and is not suitable for younger children.
