Join Our Book Club, where we read a variety of lighter titles, including cozy mysteries, heartwarming fiction, and other engaging reads that aren't too scary, graphic, or heavy. Whether you're an avid reader or just looking for your next great book, you'll find a welcoming group ready to share thoughts, feelings, and recommendations.

We meet on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. Come enjoy lively conversation, discover new books, and connect with fellow readers.

Join the Teen Advisory Committee (TAC): Lead, Serve, and Create!

Want to make your voice heard and help shape what happens at your library? The Stratford Branch Library is looking for motivated teens to join the Teen Advisory Committee (TAC)—a team of young leaders who help connect local youth with the library and the wider community.

This event is open to teens aged 13-18 No registration is required, but space and supplies may be limited.

Family Playdate Workshop

The Family Playdate Workshop is a five-week program intended for children, aged 5 years-old and under, and their caregivers. Caregivers and children gather in a room with passive toys that encourage playtime and socialization.

This event is open to teens aged 13-18 No registration is required, but space and supplies may be limited.

Homeschoolers ages 6 & up are invited to experiment with us on Monday, September 14th at 2pm. We'll learn how to control Bee-Bots and Finch robots using basic coding concepts.

Hang out at the library and play a game of teamwork and betrayal. We'll play Among Us on Tuesday, September 22nd at 4:30 PM.

All equipment provided. Space limited. Pick up free tickets at the front desk 15 minutes before the program starts to secure your spot. This program is for ages 8-18.

Teens ages 12-18 are invited to learn how to cook pumpkin empanadas at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Saturday, September 26th at 3:00 PM. This recipe will include gluten, pumpkin, sugar, and dairy. Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

A waiver is required to attend the program which will be emailed upon registration.

Teens! Love manga? Join us to talk about your favorite manga, draw amazing characters, and explore Japanese culture.
