Adults deserve to play too! On the first Saturday of the month, join us all day in the second floor Conference Room for creativity and construction.

Any attendant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

There will be no Adult LEGO Saturdays during the holiday weekends of:

Nurture your strength and mental health with Tai Chi at Parker Williams Library!

Often described as 'meditation in motion', Tai Chi is a low-impact, slow-motion exercise that helps to strengthen your muscles and relax your mind.

• Occurrence: Every second Saturday (unless otherwise noted)
• Time: 2:00 PM 
• Ages: Reading age and families. 
• Description: Come practice your reading skills in the comforting presence of trained therapy dogs. Space is limited; availability based on number of animals available.
• Additional Info: Event involves live animals.

This class is the beginning of the smartphone classes!

You will learn:

• What a smartphone is and common types (Android vs. iPhone)
• Basic components: home button, power button, volume buttons, camera, and charger ports.
• Turning the smartphone on/off, locking/unlocking.
• Navigating home screen vs. lock screen.
• What apps are and why they matter.

These classes are free and you do not need to register. You also do not need a library card to attend. I will provide handouts from the lesson for you to take home.

Join us for our monthly Lego Club!  We provide the Lego's and the kids provide the creativity and imagination! Program is open to children of all ages. Join us for an hour of fun mixed free and themed building.
