The next session for the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library will run from February 23rd - May 4th, 2026. The Buddies will meet on Mondays from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM.
Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.

The sun is shining outside but there's a blizzard blowing at Fairbanks Library! Come and learn how to make 3-D paper snowflakes using only recycled paper, scissors, glue and tape! You've seen them online, now make your own to decorate your home using materials you already have on hand! These impressive giant snowflakes will wow your friends. No previous paperfolding skills needed. Class will be located in the main library. All supplies will be provided. This class is intended for adults 18+.
Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.
