Join us for a creative writing session as we craft our own spooky stories featuring advice sent in by award winning authors! Write your own or put a spin on an outline that we will have ready to go. Every person will leave with a writing care-kit including pens, highlighter and journal!
This program is for children ages 7-12. Registration is required and begins one week in advance.
It’s movie time! Celebrate America250 and watch the movie version of Hamilton and sing along with the cast! Snacks provided by the Northwest Library Friends.

The Aldine Branch Library will be offering:

- We will meet once a week on Thursdays August 6th, 2026 - September 24th from 10:30am - 11:30am
A pre-assessment test is required. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you.
These courses are free of charge.

Story Time is a great way for children to build early literacy skills with stories, rhymes and songs. Parents are encouraged to participate by sitting with children and singing (and learning!) new songs.
Last half hour is craft time!
Children of all ages are welcome.
