Join us as the Friends of the Maud Marks Library hold their next Members-Only preview used book sale. There is a large selection of hardback fiction and nonfiction, as well as children’s books and paperbacks. All items sell for rock-bottom prices.

If you are not a member of the Friends of the Maud Marks Library, you may join at the door for $10. All proceeds will benefit the library.

Get ready to move! Move to the Beat is a high-energy, all-ages dance hour held every other Friday* from 4:30–5:30 PM. Using Just Dance and guided fitness routines, participants can sing along, follow the choreography, and enjoy a fun way to stay active. Everyone is welcome to join in! We’ll begin and end with light stretching to promote safe movement, and water bottles are provided to help everyone stay hydrated. No experience needed — just bring your energy and get ready to dance!

Texas Sized Pride for America's 250th - Preserving our Heritage: Step into history and discover the people, places, and events that shaped our nation. Through engaging storytelling and vivid illustrations, the exhibit’s display panels and interactive kiosks bring to life the stories behind our country’s founding.

The exhibit will be on display at the Katy Library for the entire month of July, during regular library business hours.

This exhibit is sponsored by the Sam Houston Chapter, Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

Join us at the Katy Library for Seedling Squad, a toddler story time, from 10:15 am-11 am. This event will take place on the carpet in the children's section of the library. Come dance, sing, and grow while we read books together!

Tommy Terrific presents A Magical Dinosaur Dig! This interactive magic show features a giant magic trunk filled with dinosaur fossils and exploration tools. With the help of the Magician’s Handbook, kids guide Tommy on a magical adventure where the world of dinosaurs comes alive in wacky and unexpected ways. From the T. rex to the Triceratops and beyond, young audiences will uncover fun facts about dinosaurs and the age in which they lived.
