Houston Repertoire Ballet presents "Rodeo", performed by Houston area high school students! This exciting cowboy themed story-ballet, set to the fantastic music of Aaron Copland, tells a tale of the American Old West and the ranch's first cowgirl. Audiences will also get a taste of classical ballet with an excerpt number from "Sleeping Beauty"!

This program is for all ages. Tickets are required and will be handed out to all attendees starting 30 minutes prior, while supplies last. Attendee must be present to receive a ticket.

Get creative and design something totally your own at Teen Craft: Bandana Charm Necklaces!

Join us on Saturday, July 18th at 2:00 PM for a fun, hands-on crafting program where teens can make stylish bandana charm necklaces. Choose your colors, add unique charms, and design a wearable piece that reflects your personal style.

This relaxing and social program is a great way to hang out with friends, try something new, and leave with a custom accessory you made yourself. No experience needed—just bring your creativity!

Join us on Tuesdays at 10:30 am for Baby Story Time! This 30-minute Story Time program is designed for babies from birth to 18 months old. We share books, songs, rhymes, music, bubbles, and toys! We also learn some early literacy tips and activities. It’s a great way to meet other caregivers and to give your baby a chance to socialize.

Siblings are always welcome.

This program is held in our library meeting room.

No registration or tickets required.

Space is limited. Please pick up your free tickets at the Children's Reference Desk the morning of the program to gain entry to Family story time.

Join us to watch this movie musical about the creation and signing of the Declaration of Independence. This movie is unrated and was released in 1972. It discusses some serious themes and is may not be appropriate for all audiences. Parents or Guardians must remain in the room with children under the age of 7.

Families with children ages 4-7 are welcome to sign up for our 5 session Family ESL series. Parents can learn new vocabulary and practice their English pronunciation by reading picture books to their children for an hour. This program will start Saturday, June 27th at 1pm. Registration is required and by registering you are signing up for the whole series.
