Join our global storytelling adventure for children ages 5 to 11! We explore magical folklore, legendary heroes, and clever tricksters from different countries and cultures through interactive tales, music, and imagination.
Family Playdate Workshop
The Family Workshop is a five-week program intended for children, aged 5 years and under, and their caregivers. Caregivers and children gather in a room with passive toys that encourage creative play and learning. The sessions will also include a local child expert who will provide information and answer questions and concerns of caregivers on topics related to early child development.
Join us at the Katy Library for Flower Hour, a preschool story time, from 11:15 am-12 pm. This event will take place on the carpet in the children's section of the library. Come dance, sing, and grow while we read books together!

This will be a ticketed program. To enter the program, you must have a ticket!
Pick up your ticket at the front desk. Tickets are free and available at 4pm, 30 minutes before the show starts. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so please plan accordingly. You must be here in person to redeem a ticket.
Little Sprouts Baby Story Time is a ticketed story time that is every Tuesday at 11 am at the Katy Library. Please make sure to arrive early to receive a ticket. This event is for non-walking babies only. We ask that older children are left out for safety.

Join us for a free 5 week parent and child play time and workshop for families with kids ages 1 - 3 years old (older siblings are welcome to accompany them). These will be held Mondays at 6 pm from November 2 - November 30. Please register using the online registration. This program was designed by Family Place Libraries.
