Join us for an Outdoor Scavenger Hunt led by Texas Wildlife Association!

Our Outdoor Scavenger Hunt is a facilitated outside experience that encompasses the ecosystem located within our library backyard! Join us to explore, investigate, and learn all about our backyard environment and the many living (and non-living!) organisms that exist within it! 

Bring close-toed shoes and a hat!

Join us to create one of a kind cyanotype prints, a special kind of blue photo that is developed by the power of the sun and made with materials that will give your creation a prehistoric twist!

This program is for kids ages 7-12 and is limited to 10 children. Registration is required and begins one week in advance.

Join us for the 1st Tuesday of the month at 4:45 to create and build with LEGOs!
We will have the option of LEGO challenges or free build during our building session. At the end of our session, you can share and display your creations at the JC Library for the month. 

*This program is for ages 6-12 but siblings are always welcome.

Watch the cataclysmic event that lead to their extinction. Featuring animations and on-site locations of dinosaur fossils, you’ll feel like you are right there with them.

Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for a special Storytime with Ms. Maryam! You'll decorate your bikes and parade them for all to see. 

This program is a BYOB (bike) program. Families of all shapes and sizes are welcome.
