Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that brings child and teens together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained teen volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in K-3rd grades (Little Buddies).
Each Wednesday for 10 weeks, Big Buddies and Little Buddies will meet to read together and create positive experiences surrounding literacy. By the end of the session, we aspire that all Little Buddies will learn to love to read and form positive associations with reading.
Krafty Kids is a whimsical environment where children can express their creativity through a variety of artistic activities, ranging from painting to sculpting. With an extensive selection of supplies and guided sessions, kids have the opportunity to explore their talents and craft unique masterpieces to take home. If your student is struggling with math or has a simple question, come see Ms. Patricia for some one-on-one help! Each student should bring a homework or school work that they need help with. This program is for students in 4th to 12th grade. Registration is online, but walk-ins may be accepted.

Join our global storytelling adventure for children ages 5 to 11! We explore magical folklore, legendary heroes, and clever tricksters from different countries and cultures through interactive tales, music, and imagination.
Join us as we explore the various animal groups on planet Earth! We will learn about their environments, adaptations and evolution and create a one of a kind work of art that features that animal group. In October we will focus on creepy crawly reptiles!
This program is for children ages 7-12 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins one week in advance. Only the child needs to register.

This will be a ticketed program. To enter the program, you must have a ticket!
Pick up your ticket at the front desk. Tickets are free and available at 4pm, 30 minutes before the show starts. Tickets are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so please plan accordingly. You must be here in person to redeem a ticket.
Join us monthly from 4:30-5:30 pm at the Katy library for LEGO build challenges and free play! This program is for 5-11 year-olds or K-5th graders. This event is ticketed, first come-first serve, and doors will close after 4:45 pm. See you there!
