Join us for an adventure in Hispanic folktales! Bright Star Theatre will perform a fantastic show featuring a variety of characters from a wide range of cultures. Follow along as they retell stories that celebrate the various folk tale traditions of the Spanish-speaking world. Young audience members will love these high-energy stories being brought to life. This program is best suited for PreK-5th grade participants.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we will have a special story time with Classical Sing Move Play opera singers Alisa and Alejandro Magallón. We will explore some of the most well known tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs. Recommended for ages 2-5. Children of all ages are welcome.

Created by opera singers Alisa and Alejandro Magallón, this class explores some of the most well known tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs.

Recommended for ages 2-5. Children of all ages are welcome.

Celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month at the Library!

Learn about the rich traditions and the vibrant artistry of Dia de los Muertos celebration by creating your own 3D-printed calavera (sugar skull) charm to decorate your bag, keychain, car, or home.

All supplies generously furnished by the Friends of the Library Kingwood (FOLK).

Registration and attendance for patrons ages 18+ only.

Due to demand, if you have not arrived by 5 minutes after the start of the program, your spot will be released.
