Texas Sized Pride for America's 250th - Preserving our Heritage: Step into history and discover the people, places, and events that shaped our nation. Through engaging storytelling and vivid illustrations, the exhibit’s display panels and interactive kiosks bring to life the stories behind our country’s founding.

The exhibit will be on display at the Katy Library for the entire month of July, during regular library business hours.

This exhibit is sponsored by the Sam Houston Chapter, Texas Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

Special Pals, a local animal shelter, will be bringing cats to adopt and play with during this special event! All participants will need to sign a waiver before entering the cat room. Children must be accompanied by an adult and have a waiver signed by their adult on their behalf. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Before the event, we will have a donation box to accept pet food and other supplies to support the animals at Special Pals.
