Each month, library staff with expertise in history will give a talk about different topics in American history to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Come join us the Monday after Juneteenth to learn about and commemorate the ending of slavery in the United States.

Join us for a showing of the Shrek (PG) to help kick off our Summer Reading Program. Bring the family to enjoy some delicious snacks and watch a movie! This movie is rated PG. Limited spots available. Registration required.

Join us for our Cricut orientation!
This orientation session will instruct participants on using the Cricut in the library. Those completing the class will then be able to schedule time to use a Cricut at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut. Attendees will receive the Cricut and Cricut Explore Air 2 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
Looking for some new puzzles? Come swap with us! Starting May 13, bring to the library up to two gently used puzzles in their original box with all the pieces. Receive puzzle swap tickets for the puzzles you bring. Go home with two (new) puzzles of your choice on Swap Day!
Swap Day is on Saturday, June 13, at 2 PM.
