Take the time to read the many wonderful things she said that inspired the world, and choose your favorite to vote on. The directions for voting are by the box to place your vote at the right side of the circulation desk. You can also write a little something about how Dolly Parton inspired you on your vote as well. You can add your name or stay anonymous.

The quote with the most votes will be announced October 1^st and will be framed and remain on the wall for all to see.

Join us for our 'Stitch Witches' class guides you through the magical world of sewing and embroidery. This beginner-friendly program builds each week with new techniques, so regular attendance is encouraged. All supplies are provided.

The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library will host Beginner Spanish classes for Adults ages 18+. The facilitator will teach everyday words and phrases in the Spanish Language and each student will practice saying these words and phrases. There will be three classes on each Monday in October. Registration is required for all classes and is limited to 20 students. Classes will be held in the Baldwin Boettcher Conference/Meeting room at 22248 Aldine Westfield Rd., Humble, TX 77338. Please bring a notepad and pen to each class as well as your enthusiastic attitude to learn the Spanish language.

Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Classical Sing Move Play: Music of Mexico!

The Music of Mexico class, created by opera singers, Alisa and Alejandro Magallón, explores some of the most well known tunes from traditional Mexican music and nursery songs.

Classical Sing Move Play classes provide an introduction to melody, rhythm, instrument play time, and movement with music from famous operas and classical symphonies to folk songs.

Recommended for ages 2-5. Children of all ages are welcome.

Teens and tweens are invited to try this fun and challenging game that combines physical challenges with teamwork and communication. Get moving and get thinking!

Work with your team to spell a word with your blocks, then stack the word while holding up a platform. Compete against others and learn if you what it takes to win!
