How slow can you roll? This challenge uses common household items to demonstrate the forces of friction. Can you create a wrapper around a tin can that slows your roll while still getting to the bottom of the ramp? The slowest wins! 

Teens and tweens ages 11 - 17 are invited to a social hour with games, crafts, and fun! Registration is preferred but not required—feel free to drop in!

Join us for a free, 12-week class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. An English assessment must be taken for class admittance. Taking this class does not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

Welcome to LEGO® Jurassic Park!

Travel back to the age of dinosaurs and put your creativity and engineering skills to the test in this prehistoric brick building challenge. Work through exciting missions, think like a problem-solver, and see if you have what it takes to survive a Jurassic-sized adventure!

*Recommended for children ages 5-11.

Do you like to write? Would you like to share your work with other writers for feedback and inspiration?

Word Crafters is a writing group that meets every Wednesday at 3:30 pm in the conference room of Baldwin Boettcher Library. No registration is necessary.

Note: on Wed, May 20th we will be meeting on the library floor due to a special program in the conference room.

We do prompts share, discuss, and encourage.

Get messy with this two part STEAM challenge. Make your catapult and then fling cotton balls at a canvas to paint!

This program will be outdoors. Please bring appropriate clothing, sun screen, and water to hydrate!

Being Creative and crafty can be very therapeutic, and with all the stress in the world these days, we can use all the crafting therapy we can get!

Spin-a-Yarn is a crafting group that meets every Wednesday at 11 am in the study room of the Baldwin Boettcher Library. If you like to craft or create in any way, come join us with your own creative project for crafting and chatting fun!

The Adult Coloring Club meets one Tuesday per month at 2 pm for an hour of coloring, music, and great conversation. This month it will take place out in the library at the tables by the teen computers.

Nor registration is required & all supplies are provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
