Enjoy some time to bond with your baby and meet new friends. This program is for babies and will feature lap-sit stories, songs, activities and time to socialize with others. Story time is an excellent way to bond with your child, boost their vocabulary, and hopefully raise a lifelong reader. Studies have shown that regularly reading to your child can increase their attention span, boost their emotional intelligence, and flex their imagination. A free ticket is required and can be picked up at the information desk 30 minutes prior to the program.

Minecraft Code Knights Ancient Greece 

Become an ancient engineer in this hands-on STEM adventure! In this immersive 1.5-hour program, kids travel to the city-state of Technopolis, where they’ll apply real-world STEM principles to solve epic challenges. This Minecraft world features an unstable temple, a broken aqueduct, and an unfinished village waiting for their engineering genius. For kids ages 8-12. Register 2 weeks before the program online. Space is limited.

Presented by Artist Boat, Eco-Art Camp will unearth the secrets hidden at the bottom of the ocean.  During this weeklong camp at the library, students will experience hands-on activities and art creation to understand “Benthic Communities” or what is at the bottom of the ocean. Participants will create watercolor seascapes, glow in the dark acrylic portraits of deep ocean dwelling organisms and create coral models out of clay.
