Book of the month: The Christie Affair by Nina de Gramont
Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
The Fall cycle of Book Buddies will run from September 17th to November 19th. Reading sessions will be in the library meeting room.
This orientation session will introduce participants to Cricut operation and software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use the Cricut.
This class is appropriate for ages 8 and up.Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.Registration required.Join us in the meeting room to discuss this month's book!
Book of the month: A Marriage at Sea: A True Story of Love, Obsession, and Shipwreck by Sophie Elmhirst
Join us in this very popular and relaxing craft activity. Diamond painting involves applying tiny resin rhinestones to a pre-printed canvas to create a mosaic-style art piece. Beginners are welcome and you will be able to create a keychain or magnet.
All supplies are provided.
