This FREE Art Camp is a program in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH). Teachers from the prestigious MFAH Glassell school for the Arts come in to teach kids ages 7-12 art classes (10am – 12pm) for four days in the selected week (Mon-Thurs) culminating in a free field trip on Friday (bus provided) to the museum!

MFAH Art Camp at LSC-Tomball Community Library will take place from Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31.

You MUST be able to commit to attending ALL 5 days of Art Camp.

Come out to celebrate the classic Tall Tale of Paul Bunyan and his blue ox, Babe. We will read a story, color pictures, create luxurious beards and even throw mock axes to really get in to the woodsman spirit! 

This program is for children ages 5-7 and their parent/caregiver.  Registration is required and begins one week in advance. Only the child needs to register.

Join with other toddlers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Toddler Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays to engage toddlers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards toddlers ages 18 months through 3 years.

Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Toddler Time.

Spend time playing one-on-one with your child during Adventures in Play! This program encourages play-based learning and social play with a variety of fun and educational toys. 

This program is for kids ages 1-3 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins one week prior.

Join us on 2nd Tuesdays for the Inspirational Book Club, a self-run club of readers! If you enjoy "lighter" reads with a positive message, this is the book club for you!

Some copies are available downstairs at the Reference Desk, but each member is responsible for obtaining their own copy. Please check out our catalog to request a book!

Join the fun by using your creativity to design your own mini sculptures using air dry clay! All skill levels are welcome and all supplies are provided. 

This program is for children ages 4-8 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins one week in advance.
