Learn how to design a 3D printable cookie cutter! Participants will learn how to turn 2D vector images into 3D printable models using Inkscape, a free vector design software, and Autodesk Tinkercad and Cookiecad, which are free online computer-aided (CAD) design software for creating 3D prints.
This orientation session will introduce participants to vinyl cutting, Cricut operation, heat pressing, sublimation printing and related software in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a vinyl cutter, Cricut machine, sublimation printer, or a heat press.
Learn how to heat press a custom sublimation printed design to a tote bag! Prior attendance to a Cricut orientation is not necessary.
