This event is open to children of all ages. Firefighters from the Houston Fire Department will bring their fire truck to the library parking lot on the Diana Lane side. Children will have the opportunity to meet the firefighters and explore the fire truck.
We will provide activity packs and firefighter helmets for every child attending this program.

Our first stop will be at Zube Park (17560 Roberts Rd, Hockley, TX 77447) to see the Houston Area Live Steamers (HALS), live steam modeling devoted to model trains large enough to ride.

Join us for introductory Yoga series where we will explore the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga. Participants will practice gentle movement and simple meditation techniques aimed at increasing physical ease and mental clarity. The program will be adapted to the ability levels of those who register, and no prior yoga experience is required.

Calling all genealogists! We’ll be hosting an open lab for FamilySearch, a free, online resource for genealogy/family history research. This free program requires no registration but space is limited.
