This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing in the library. This orientation session is mandatory before patrons can schedule time to use a 3D printer.
Teens and tweens will be divided into four teams who design and build a robot, then use your robot to battle other robot creations! Win or loose, your team will have the chance to redesign and head back into the battle arena! Tickets required and will be available at 4PM at the front desk.

This program bring hands-on STEAM fun to the community. Through creative, team-based challenges, children will explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math in an engaging and interactive environment. Our programs encourage creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and imagination while making learning fun for all.

For the Atascocita Branch Library sessions, sign up for this class session on Team Karate Academy's website. This summer session runs from July 13 - August 3 at the Atascocita Branch Library. The 11:15 AM sessions are for children ages 8-13 years old. The last class session (graduation) meets on a later date at Team Karate Academy's dojo.
Join us for an Among Us Game Day and test your teamwork, strategy, and detective skills! Teens will get to play Among Us on the library computers, work together to complete tasks, and figure out who the impostor is to earn a prize.Â
Please register if you need to use one of our computers. We ask that you bring you own device if possible as we have a limited number of devices available.
Join us for a fun DIY lip scrub lab where teens can mix, customize, and create their own lip scrubs to take home! Choose from fun scents and colors while enjoying a relaxing self-care activity with friends.

Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!
This orientation session will instruct participants on using the 3D printer in the library . Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer. Attendees will receive the 3D printer and Dremel 3D45 badges in Beanstack upon completion of orientation.
