What is AI (artificial intelligence) and how does it work? Come find out in this informational session presented by certified AI Consultant Captain Dr. Charles Nkherbu. He will discuss the basics of AI, how to use it safely and wisely, as well as the pros and cons of AI. All ages are welcome, but most of the presentation will be geared towards teens and adults. Come and have all your AI questions answered.

Join us at Octavia Fields Library for a Manga Drawing Class. You will use a template to start your drawing, but you will learn how to free hand manga facial proportions, line quality, and shading. All students will leave with their own unique manga character illustration.

In this summer course, community member and library volunteer, Mrs. Rhee, will teach the Korean language through songs, such as Arirang and Doraji.
Students entering grades 6-12 are invited to join us for an exciting summer program -- Clay Crafts Unearthed! Use modeling clay to make your own clay pot and/or petroglyphs, while learning fun facts.

Students entering grades 6-12 are invited to join us for an exciting summer program -- Maker Mayhem. We will be using the 3D printer and the sublimation printer. Participants will have the opportunity to create custom dino-themed tote bags, watch a 3D printing demo, and receive a dinosaur keychain.

Students entering grades 6-12 are invited to join us for the return of our summer cupcake wars. Get ready to team up to design, bake, and decorate tasty dinosaur themed cupcakes. No prior baking experience is needed! We bring the supplies, the ingredients, and the inspiration. The team that receives the highest score will receive a prize. All participants will receive buttons.
Students entering grades 6-12 are invited to join us for the return of our summer anime event -- Manga Mania. Get ready to enjoy some boba, playing games, doing trivia, and more. This year's featured series is Dinosaur Sanctuary, but we'll still be discussing all the anime and all the manga. One lucky participant will receive a fun anime themed door prize.
