Join us in creating a community quilt to celebrate America 250! Community members are welcome to design their own quilt square with colorful designs. Join us for our 3D Printer Orientation!
This orientation session will introduce participants to 3D printing services in the library. Those who complete the class will then be able to request time to use a 3D printer at HCPL branches, at which time they will complete a short machine-specific orientation at the location of their choice. Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a 3D printer.
This event is open to all ages. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult guardian.

Discover exciting STEM activities, experience innovative technology, and see how creativity and imagination come to life through hands-on making and learning.
Presented by Artist Boat, Eco-Art Camp will unearth the secrets hidden at the bottom of the ocean. During this weeklong camp at the library, students will experience hands-on activities and art creation to understand “Benthic Communities” or what is at the bottom of the ocean. Participants will create watercolor seascapes, glow in the dark acrylic portraits of deep ocean dwelling organisms and create coral models out of clay.
