Come experiment with coding and robotics at the South Houston library! We will be using beginner level programming to guide the Sphero robot through creative challenges!
No experience is required. This program is for ages 12-18 years old.
Join us for our monthly Lego Club! We provide the Lego's and the kids provide the creativity and imagination! Program is open to children of all ages. Join us for an hour of fun mixed free and themed building.
Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
The Spring cycle of Book Buddies will run from February19th to April 30th. Reading sessions will be in the library meeting room.

The Teen Advisory Board is hosting a - not so friendly- game of Mafia. This deduction game is basically a murder mystery in which players try to guess who is behind the killing spree of the local villagers. There will be a lot of finger-pointing and betrayal.
