Join us once a month to journal our little hearts out! We have a different theme each month and write according to prompts, then join in discussion. It's a great way to learn about different types of journaling, make friends, and just chill out for an hour!

Watercolor for “Young at heART” adults meets every Tuesday morning to enjoy watercolor painting while commiserating with fellow artists! This friendly and social group is open to all adults and to all levels of art experience, including those who have never painted with watercolor at all. Sometimes the group works on individual projects and sometimes there is an art education period. Sometimes you will learn something new and sometimes you can teach something to others. Join in for a morning of beautiful art and fun conversation!

Get ready for Kingwood Library's 5th Annual Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament.

This event is open to teens and adults.

Team size limited to 2 - 4 persons. Tournament is limited to 10 teams.

Only one team member needs to register for the whole team.

Join us for a relaxed group reading program designed to help strengthen your English pronunciation and fluency. Participants will take turns reading aloud in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Thursdays

Starting June 4

3:30–5:30 PM

This is a non-leveled ESL program, best suited for learners who already have a basic to strong understanding of English.

All reading materials will be provided.

Join us for introductory Yoga series where we will explore the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga. Participants will practice gentle movement and simple meditation techniques aimed at increasing physical ease and mental clarity. The program will be adapted to the ability levels of those who register, and no prior yoga experience is required.

The Next Chapter invites adults of all ages to join us on Thursday, July 16 at 10:15 AM as we're shown how to make our own bag charms, decorative accessories attached to a handbag or tote.

This free event requires sign-up. Registration opens Thursday, July 02 at 12 PM and closes Monday, July 13 at 8 PM. Please contact the Adult Services/Reference Desk at the library or visit our website to register.

Brad Adams looks forward to presenting "The Importance of Ice Cream to the US Military in World War II.” This free event requires no registration.
