Join us for a DINO-MITE film festival every Friday.
1:00 to 3:30 p.m., kids under 10 can enjoy fun, age-appropriate dinosaur themed cartoons and movies.
3:30 to 6:00 p.m., tweens and adults can experience thrilling dinosaur adventures.
It's a ROARING good time for all ages!
This class is for people who already know a little about using a computer and want to learn how to create PowerPoint presentations and design beautiful projects in Canva. Over 6 weeks, we will practice choosing slide layouts, adding and formatting personal photos, exploring professional design templates, and creating fun projects like digital photo albums, custom greeting cards, and event flyers. The class meets one hour per week and is hands-on, beginner-friendly, and focused on learning skills by doing practical but fun projects.
There will be a brief lesson for beginners at the beginning of the session. Each class go over the following:
- How each chess pieces move
- Chess rules
- Review how to use a chess clock
- How to use notation
- How to set up the chess board
- Discuss special moves
- Describe check and checkmate
- Review chess principals
- Cover minor tactics
- Discuss end game principals
- Then members will get a chance to play each other

The Next Chapter Classics Revisited continues Thursday, June 18 at 10:15 AM in our downstairs Meeting Room. We look forward to showing Juno, the 2007quirky coming-of-age comedy. This film stars Elliot Page (as Ellen Page), Michael Cera, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman, Olivia Thirlby, and Allison Janney. Rated PG-13, Juno lasts 1 hour, 35 minutes.
