Each month, library staff with expertise in history will give a talk about different topics in American history to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America. Come join us to learn all about the first moon landing!

Participants volunteer to lead discussions and they pick the material. Normally they will propose a title and everyone agrees. This is a laid back but serious group.  They meet in person, February - November.

This beginner friendly lesson will introduce participants to various hand embroidery stitches and techniques.

This program is limited to attendees age 5 and up. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must be able to help their children with the project.This program involves sharp embroidery needles and embroidery scissors.Registration is required due to limited supplies and seating.

Are you ready to learn English? Are you looking for a way to improve your English conversation skills?

Classes are free and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required before anyone can attend. To register for class, fill out the registration form, email or call the branch. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you and check to see if there are any open spaces available.

June 1st at 12pm - ChatGPT & A.I. Basics
June 8th at 12pm - Microsoft Word
June 15th at 12pm - Smart Phone Basics Class

El libro del club es 'Espiral' de Cristina Cavazos. "Firmo con mis huellas los poemas que las olas borran a su paso."

Una selección de poemas donde la voz de la autora se lanza por un camino de evidentes dualidades donde explora las vías del amor y del odio, la rabia y la serenidad, la vida y la muerte. Aunque parecieran lejanos, Cristina no muestra cómo los opuestos están muy cerca uno del otro en las imágenes que nos regala a través de la palabra. Te esperamos en el club.
