Attention adults! Come and enjoy our kid-free event, Library Movie Nights, where we feature a different film each time. This program occurs typically every third Wednesday of the month. Summer is full of possibilities... so we are doing crafternoon programs that are mysterious to keep the crafting alive.
**Please note that due to limited supplies, each patron will get to make (1) item.
There will be a brief lesson for beginners at the beginning of the session. Each class go over the following:
- How each chess pieces move
- Chess rules
- Review how to use a chess clock
- How to use notation
- How to set up the chess board
- Discuss special moves
- Describe check and checkmate
- Review chess principals
- Cover minor tactics
- Discuss end game principals
- Then members will get a chance to play each other

No artistic skills needed - just bring your favorite coloring book and pencils (or use ours) and enjoy a stress-free time in good company.
