Books Alive adapts children's literature into fully staged original 45-minute musicals, carefully honoring the author’s message and encouraging students to develop a love of books while often providing their first opportunity to see live theater. Crafted and performed by a professional troupe, productions are big & engaging, fun & entertaining for all ages.
This beginner friendly lesson will introduce participants to various hand embroidery stitches and techniques.
- This program is limited to attendees age 5 and up. Children under age 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must be able to help their children with the project.
- This program involves sharp embroidery needles and embroidery scissors.
- Registration is required due to limited supplies and seating.

Start summer with a little creativity at the library! Children in grades K–8 can drop in to paint, draw, craft, and explore using a variety of art supplies and donated materials. Families are welcome to relax, create together, and stock up on books before summer adventures begin.
No ticket is required. Free and open to the public - just stop by and create!
