Kids will learn and create something brand new each day of the week and get a free field trip to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston on Friday!
Space is limited. Registration for this program is first-come first-serve, but there will be a waitlist.
The program is open to children ages 7 to 12 years old. Parents must register their child in-person at the Aldine Branch Library (11331 Airline Dr., Houston, TX 77037)
Wish You Were Here – Footprints Through Time
When you discover a mysterious suitcase filled with expedition tools, you’ll use your imagination and senses to search for dinosaur fossils! Journey through the jungle, dig for bones at an excavation site, rescue dinosaurs from tar pits, and collect dino eggs—just be careful of the earth-shaking volcano!

Because this program includes hands-on props and materials, participants should disclose any allergies or sensitivities.Join us at this special Bilingual Story time for a fun program developed by the Children's Museum of Houston! This Para Los Niños/Teaching Together STEM Workshop includes bilingual activities in English and Spanish that are appropriate for families with children ages 3-7 years old, centered around the theme: "Show What you Know." Participating families will receive a pass to the Children's Museum for up to 6 people.

Scoops & Sirens is a fun, kid-friendly event at the Evelyn Meador Library hosted by the Seabrook Police Department and Seabrook Fire Department. Children are invited to enjoy a special story time with local first responders, followed by ice cream sundaes with a variety of toppings. Kids will also have the chance to see a real police car and fire truck up close. It’s a relaxed and welcoming way for children to meet community helpers, explore emergency vehicles, and enjoy stories and a sweet treat together.
Join us for fun and games! Especially if you LOVE math. Mathnasium of Memorial City will be providing us with an afternoon of math-related activities and games for ages 6 and up.
Storytime for Toddlers
Join Ms. Sharon for a lively, interactive storytime designed especially for toddlers. Little ones will enjoy singing, movement, and simple dinosaur-themed stories in a fun and welcoming environment.
This program includes songs, early literacy activities, and a hands-on craft.
