This show features a variety of characters from a wide range of cultures in stories that celebrate the various folk tale traditions of the Spanish-speaking world. Book Buddies is a free program that brings children and teen volunteers together to share the joy of reading. It pairs trained volunteers (Big Buddies) with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grades (Little Buddies). For 10 weeks, the Buddies meet once a week in the afternoon for 45 minutes of one-on-one shared reading.
The Fall cycle of Book Buddies will run from September 17th to November 19th. Reading sessions will be in the library meeting room.

Be prepared get your free flu shot with insurance or free limited quantities vouchers. Ages 7 & up. No appointment necessary. Please bring some form of I.D.
