Join Harris County Public Health (HCPH) at the High Meadows Branch Library this February for two special sessions dedicated to keeping your heart in top shape. No appointment is necessary—just drop in and take charge of your health!
Session 1: Heart Health Basics
- Date: Wednesday, February 18
- Topic: Learn the "Know Your Numbers" essentials, including tips for managing blood pressure and maintaining a heart-healthy lifestyle.
Session 2: Quitting for Good
Join Harris County Public Health (HCPH) at the High Meadows Branch Library this February for two special sessions dedicated to keeping your heart in top shape. No appointment is necessary—just drop in and take charge of your health!

Session 2: Quitting for Good
The Baldwin Boettcher Branch Library will host a Saint Patrick's Day Party for customers of all ages. We will have live music, light refreshments, and Shamrock foam craft. Feel free to dress in green on this day. We will meet in the library conference room.
It's that time again! Book Buddies is a FREE literacy program that brings teens and children (Kinder-3rd) together to share the joy of reading. This is a 10 week program that meets once a week for 45 minutes. Our first meeting will be September 11th so sign up now! For more information click here.

Need help preparing your taxes? AARP will prepare your taxes for FREE!
Available only on Mondays and Fridays from 10AM to 2PM.
You will need to bring:
- the completed AARP tax packet (available at the library),
- a driver's license/state ID,
- social security card, and
- any relevant tax information/forms.
This program is first come, first serve for walk-ins.
This year AARP will also offer appointments. Appointments can be made over the phone or in-person.
