Need help preparing your taxes? AARP will prepare your taxes for FREE!
Available only on Mondays and Fridays from 10AM to 2PM.
You will need to bring:
- the completed AARP tax packet (available at the library),
- a driver's license/state ID,
- social security card, and
- any relevant tax information/forms.
This program is first come, first serve for walk-ins.
This year AARP will also offer appointments. Appointments can be made over the phone or in-person.

What you’ll find:
Join with other babies and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Tiny Tots uses songs, age appropriate stories, and playtime to engage both babies and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards walkers through 18 months.

Beginning in February, AARP will be offering free tax assistance to elderly and low-income individuals. AARP assistance will be available on Mondays and Fridays, on February 2 through February 13, from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM. They will be back on Friday, March 3 through Monday, April 13, from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM.
You are encouraged to show up half an hour early to sign up for a spot.
Join us for a free class to help you prepare for your naturalization interview and civics test. You must complete an English placement assessment to join the class. Taking this class will not grant citizenship or pay for any application fees. Registration is required as space is limited.

DANCE TO LEARN is a movement integration program that approaches academic curriculum from a kinesthetic perspective. Houston Ballet teaching artists work together with teachers to create lessons that address TEKS in multiple subject areas while building Social Emotional Skills.
