Read Against the Machine! is a nonfiction book club exploring social, cultural, historical, and political topics. Selections highlight varied perspectives and encourage readers to think critically about the ideas and narratives that shape contemporary life.
For April, we are reading The Message by Ta-Nehisi Coates.

Each week features a fresh, exciting theme—from high-tech Robots to mythical Dragons. We go beyond the book with interactive games and hands-on instrument play to keep older kids engaged and moving. Join us to dive into DNA use and techniques for family history research. This fall, we will be studying and discussing Diahan Southard's, "Your DNA Guide: the book" and "Your DNA Guide: the workbook". (Not provided.)
The discussion portion of this program will be held in-person and virtually. After discussion time, in person participants will move to the library computers for hands-on work with matchlists.

Word Crafters is a writing group that meets every Wednesday at 3:30 pm in the conference room of Baldwin Boettcher Library. No registration is necessary.

Come and join us for 45 minutes of sensory exploration and discovery! Our "Little Explorers" program is for preschool age children from 0 - 5 years old and their caregivers. Please dress to get messy! This event is free to attend and all materials will be provided. Each session requires a free ticket for kids in attendance. Tickets are available in the library on the morning of the event.

Join us for an interactive early literacy experience for toddlers and their caregivers. This program is geared toward toddlers ages 18 months-3 years old and features songs, books, and crafts each week!
Join us for an English-Spanish bilingual Toddler Time on the last Thursday of every month!
