Are you ready to learn English? Are you looking for a way to improve your English conversation skills?
Classes are free and all materials are provided. Pre-registration is required before anyone can attend. To register for class, fill out the registration form, email or call the branch. Our Literacy Coordinator will help determine the right class for you and check to see if there are any open spaces available.

- This is a free class is for learners who know basic English and want to improve.
- You will practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Class meets once a week on Mondays for 2 hours.
- The materials are provided by the library at no cost.

Ages 8-12
Discovery Time with Miss Christine is a fun and engaging story time for the whole family! Each week, we build literacy skills through the five essential practices: playing, singing, talking, reading, and writing.
For: Pre-School & Elementary (ages 3 to 10 years old). Younger siblings may participate with the active support of a parent or caregiver as long as they do not disrupt the program.
How to Attend:
If you are interesting in Learn Excel 2019 We offer free class where you learn how to streamline data entry with AutoFill. Then, get chart recommendations based on your data, and create them with one click. Or easily spot trends and patterns with data bars, color coding, and icons., The course also teaches you how to add rows and columns and change column widths, how to use copy, cut and paste to save time, and how to print the correct part of your spreadsheet!

Join us to watch this movie musical about the creation and signing of the Declaration of Independence. This movie is unrated and was released in 1972. It discusses some serious themes and is may not be appropriate for all audiences. Parents or Guardians must remain in the room with children under the age of 7.
Join us for an interactive early literacy experience for toddlers and their caregivers. This program is geared toward toddlers ages 18 months-3 years old and features songs, books, and crafts each week!
Join us for an English-Spanish bilingual Toddler Time on the last Thursday of every month!

Zentangle art is an easy-to-learn and fun way to create beautiful structured patterns. The patterns are called tangles. You create tangles with dots, lines, and simple curves.
You will learn the elements and the steps to drawing creative tangles in our beginner class.
All supplies are generously furnished by the Friends of the Library Kingwood (F.O.L.K.).
