Mother Goose is a gentle early-learning program that focuses on the interaction between parent(s) and their little ones. We provide developmentally appropriate opportunities such as play, sing-alongs, and rhymes. Come join the fun and meet new friends. We look forward to seeing you!

How to Attend
We want to ensure a positive experience for everyone, but we need your help.

Play, Learn, and Grow Together! 

From October 13 through November 10, our regular Family Storytime will be replaced by the Play & Learn! Family Place Workshop. Family Storytime will return on November 17.

Join us for this special 5-week parent-child workshop designed to support early childhood development while strengthening the bond between children and their caregivers. Children ages 1–3 will enjoy hands-on play with toys and activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and learning.

Join with other preschoolers and parents/caregivers for weekly story time fun! Preschool Story Time uses age appropriate stories, songs and finger plays, and a take-home craft to engage preschoolers and their parents/caregivers. This story time is geared towards kids ages 3-5 years.

Tickets are required and will be handed out at the Children's Desk starting 30 minutes prior. Children must have a ticket to attend Preschool Story Time.

In the spirit of October , hang out in the Teen Space and paint some ghosts with cookies on the side!

The Teen Space is open to the public during the library's open hours.

This event is for ages 12-17, 18 if in High School

Choo Choo Club is a weekly Early Literacy Program that travels through the alphabet one letter at a time. You and your child will play, learn and have fun discovering the early literacy skills that will help them become ready to read!

This program is limited to 15 children ages 3-5 and their parents. Registration is required for each event and begins one week in advance. ONLY THE CHILD NEEDS TO REGISTER.

This story time includes stories, songs and activities. Children are invited to wear their pajamas and bring a favorite blanket or stuffed animal! 

Surprise! Each child may choose one free book to take home at the end of the program!

Tickets are required for all programs, unless otherwise noted. They are free and available starting 30 minutes before the program begins at the Kid's Information Desk. Tickets are limited and offered on a first come first served basis.

This class is designed for students who are interested in learning and /or practicing speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills in English. Classes are free and all materials are provided.
