Join Michael, the Octavia Fields Children's Librarian, for storytelling, nursery rhymes, name games, crafts and play time using Family Place approved toys. All activities are for toddler age children. Ages 0-5.
Join us at the Parker Williams Library Innovation Lab for our Cricut Orientation!
This orientation session will introduce participants to the Cricut & Sublimation services we offer at the library. Those who complete the orientation will then be able to request supervised time to use the Cricut and Sublimation services at any HCPL branch that has one.
Attending this orientation is mandatory before patrons can request time to use a Cricut/Sublimation Printer in the future.
We will learn how to type on the keyboard.
We will practice the correct hand position, how to add symbols and how to type without having to look down at our hands.
In this class, participants will learn the fundamentals of working with computer files. The lesson covers how to create, open, save, and rename files, as well as how to organize them into folders for easy access. Participants will also practice moving, copying, and deleting files, plus learn the basics of using USB drives and the Recycle Bin.
Computers are limited, please arrive on time!
