Join us at the Barbara Bush Branch Library for Treasure Hunters Cruisin'!

Travel around the world without leaving the library! Learn about different foods and cultures with activities meant to share worldly experiences that are once in a lifetime.

This program is strictly for ages 8 to 12. If there are Littles in your group, please come to the Family Place play area to engage in age appropriate distractions while the siblings are exploring their world.
Supplies are limited, so please pick up a ticket from the Children's staff 15mins prior to the program.

Come expand and enhance your skills in the art of needlepoint through small projects, long term projects and discussions. All are welcome to participate by bringing their own projects, beginners welcome. Have fun learning this beautiful art.

Join us at the Crosby Library every 1st Friday @ 4pm for our Tween Book Club, Plot Twisters!. Each month, we’ll dive into cool new books and chat about it with friends. Grab a copy of the monthly selection at the front desk.

Do you knit, crochet, or find yourself with another yarn-related hobby? Join us for a cozy evening of creativity, where you can share your passion for knitting and crochet with fellow enthusiasts.

Bring your current project or try the featured project of the month. Whether you're looking to refine your skills or simply spend time in a welcoming environment, our club offers the perfect opportunity to connect and inspire one another.

Join us for Beginner Spanish! This class will meet on Fridays from 4:30 - 5:30 PM. This class is free and is taught by our amazing volunteer tutor, Naheily. 

A weekly Computer Class for Adult Beginners to discover and improve their skills in this increasingly high-tech age. Every week we learn by doing Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email, Resumes, Internet Safety, Google Searches, HCPL resources and more!

Join us for songs, stories, and crafts during Preschool Story Time! This activity will take place in the Children's Room. Recommended for children ages 3 to 6 years.

Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library.  Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.
