Come and join us for 45 minutes of sensory exploration and discovery! Our "Little Explorers" program is for preschool age children from 0 - 5 years old and their caregivers. Please dress to get messy! This event is free to attend and all materials will be provided. Each session requires a free ticket for kids in attendance. Tickets are available in the library on the morning of the event.
Sorry we cannot accommodate Daycare groups for this program.

Join us every Tuesday for The Teen Rec Room — your weekly afterschool hangout packed with 🎮 games, 😄 laughs, and 🎨 creativity. From buzzer-beating trivia and wild Jackbox challenges to laid-back crafting days and Nintendo Switch battles, no two weeks are the same.
Come solo or bring friends — it’s your time to 🧠 play, 🏆 compete, or just 😌 chill.
Join us every first Thursday of the month from 4:30-5:30pm for Lego Club here at the Fairbanks Branch Library! We will have Legos, mega blocks and magna tiles to build with. Come have fun! This program is for ages 6-11 but siblings are always welcome. We will meet inside the meeting room.

For high school and middle school students only. Meet in the computer lab for crafts, movies, & games.
Be a scientist for the day!
Have your kids join us and become scientists for the day. They will learn how to collect information and interpret findings the same way scientists do in a safe and fun environment. Parents let's work together to Teach Together STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The program includes fun bilingual activities developed by the Children's Museum of Houston! Activities include Animal Hatchlings, Dr. Vet and Catapult! Children's Museum Family passes given to participating families.
Community Health & Wellness Services provided by Harris County Public Health at the Fairbanks Branch Library. Come visit the Mobile Dental Clinic for:
First visits include a dental screening.
Follow-up visits may include a dental cleaning or basic treatment.

This service is available from 8 am -3 pm each Monday with a lunch from 12-1.
