Harris County Universal Services' mission is to empower residents with the skills and confidence they need to use technology safely and effectively.

The team offers beginner friendly computer lessons designed for older adults, those new to computers, and those who would just like a refresher and would like to brush up on their computer knowledge.

This six week workshop will cover computer basics in the following modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Computers – What a computer is, its parts, and how it works

Come and join us for a fun-filled afternoon with Nintendo games and some classic board games. This event is designed for ages 11-18, so bring your friends along to compete. We can't wait to see you there!

For the Atascocita Branch Library sessions, sign up for this class session on Team Karate Academy's website. This summer session runs from July 13 - August 3 at the Atascocita Branch Library. The 10:30 AM sessions are for children ages 4-7 years old. The last class session (graduation) meets at a later date at Team Karate Academy's dojo.

Join the fun by using your creativity to design your own mini sculptures using air dry clay! All skill levels are welcome and all supplies are provided. 

This program is for children ages 4-8 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins one week in advance.

Join us on 2nd Tuesdays for the Inspirational Book Club, a self-run club of readers! If you enjoy "lighter" reads with a positive message, this is the book club for you!

Some copies are available downstairs at the Reference Desk and at each meeting, but each member is responsible for obtaining their own copy. Please check out our catalog to request a book!
