Are you inspired by Wednesday Addams or Sid from Toy Story? How about Dr. Frankenstein? Use your creativity & engineering skills to light up the spooky season. Make your very own macabre lamp using well-loved old dolls. Teens ages 12-18 can create a Franken-Doll Lamp at the Spring Branch-Memorial Branch Library on Thursday, October 30th at 4:30pm.

Harris County Public Library has the services you need to prepare for the naturalization process. Citizenship Classes covering everything you need to know to pass the naturalization exam, including the reading & writing portions of the exam as well as the 128 civics questions.

Join us as we explore emotions and move through our feelings to a calm, kind space. Bring your curiosity as we practice techniques that help build a strong emotional awareness in ourselves and others. 

This program is for children ages 3-6 and their parent/caregiver. Registration is required and begins one week in advance. Only the child needs to register.

Anxious about starting college? Worried about accumulating debt? Here at South Houston we are offering an educational session that will break down the different kinds of scholarships, and which opportunities you should focus on as an incoming undergrad. This presentation greatly focuses on current high school students, but people outside of this group are welcome to join us. Handouts with information will be provided. Please feel free to bring a notepad to take notes!

Art projects for children ages 3-6 years old. Painting can get a little messy, so come prepared! We recommend bringing an apron or wearing clothes that can get paint on them. 

In order to ensure the safety of our youngest patrons, this is a ticketed program. Free tickets are available 30 minutes before the program starts. First come, first served.
