Promotes early literacy skills. The program features reading, singing, talking, writing and playing. We will help give you the resources you need to expand your child’s skills, preparing them to read. Recommended for children ages 2-5 years, it features age appropriate stories, songs, and fingerplays. Story time is an excellent way to bond with your child, boost their vocabulary, and hopefully raise a lifelong reader. Studies have shown that regularly reading to your child can increase their attention span, boost their emotional intelligence, and flex their imagination.

Help us transform the library’s community garden into a magical Winter Wonderland! Join fellow volunteers for an afternoon of creativity, community, and holiday spirit as we prep for the Winter Wonderland. We’ll provide refreshments and plenty of good cheer for everyone who lends a hand.

The winter wonderland is most beautiful when covered in snow. Join us for winter celebrations that include crafts and toys, and capture beautiful snowy background photos with your children.

Join our Reader’s Choice book club, where you can share whatever you’re currently reading! It’s a relaxed, no-pressure group that meets on the second Thursday of each month at 1 PM. Whether you’ve just finished a book or are looking for inspiration, come share or simply listen in.
